This is the value, during the relevant period, for the premium payable by the policyholder, which is net of discounts and promotions, but gross of any commissions and/or fees taken by intermediaries. The premium revenues must be gross of any reinsurance arrangements whereby premium is ceded to a reinsurer. This is calculated in accordance with the relevant accounting standard.
